Free-zone warehouses in Jebel Ali, Dubai South and the airport zones each run their own access procedures, and a crew without pre-approved passes does not get past the gate regardless of how complete the labour file is. Systems, racking and safety
Most Dubai distribution centres run a WMS with handheld scanning, and pickers who have used one before reach productivity far faster than those who have not — so we match on prior systems exposure where the role calls for it, and flag when a crew will need training time rather than pretending it away. In racked environments, forklift operators are briefed on your aisle widths, load heights and pedestrian segregation before they start, because those are the conditions under which racking incidents actually happen.
Sizing a crew to your throughput
The most common brief we receive is a headcount. The more useful brief is a volume: order lines per day, vehicle movements per shift, pallets in and out. From those we can propose a crew shape rather than just a number, and flag where the constraint is actually equipment rather than people — adding pickers to a site with too few pack benches moves the queue instead of clearing it.
